Location: Ikeja, Lagos

One of our very reputable clients is urgently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant with a matured and bright nature who can support a growing and developing accounting function within a group of young and dynamic Architect’s.
Responsible to: Company Accountant
 
Requirements:
Accounts Technician
Or Stage 1/2 of CIMA/ACCA
Or qualified by Experience
Knowledge of Sage Line 50/100 (advantage)
Main Duties:
Performing the day-to-day operations within the accounts department.
Purchase ledger invoicing and payment
Sales ledger invoicing and chasing
Cash and bank entries into Sage, and banking
Journal entries to Accounting system
Payment of expenses
Preparation of back up schedules on Excel

Further development
- Bank re-conciliations
- Preparation of Accounts to trial Balance stage, including preparation of accruals and pre-payments
- Other ad hoc analysis work, and preparation of information for the Business Managers
- Payroll
